Throughout October, we will post 21 daily prompts on Telegram. They are designed to make you think, reflect, or take action in regards to how you show up online and offline and become more visible and attractive to potential employers or clients.

Q1: What exactly is Jobtober? Jobtober is a 21-day career hackathon specifically designed for Bitcoin professionals. Instead of building products like traditional hackathons, you'll be building your professional reputation and findability in the Bitcoin space through daily challenges and actionable strategies.
Q2: Do I need to be experienced in Bitcoin to participate? You do need to be a passionate Bitcoiner, but whether you already have some proof of work in Bitcoin or not, does not matter. Jobtober is designed for both experienced professionals transitioning to Bitcoin and newcomers just starting their Bitcoin career journey. The challenges are adaptable to your current level of experience.
Q3: What's the difference between the free version and joining the POW Lab? The free version gives you access to all 21 daily prompts and the ability to participate publicly. After October, the channel will go silent for a year, until we run Jobtober again next year. The POW Lab is an inexpensive 6-month membership that includes private community access, exclusive tools like the CV Doctor and LinkedIn Guide, inclusion in our job seekers database, and direct support from Anja and the team. Q4: What happens after October ends? For free participants, the Substack mailing list as well as the Jobtober Telegram channel will go dormant until next year's Jobtober. POW Lab members continue to have access to the community, tools, and resources for a full 6 months, helping you maintain momentum in your Bitcoin career journey.
Q5: How much time do I need to commit daily? It’s up to you. Some prompts will be highly actionable and some will just make you reflect and think. One day you may spend a few minutes polishing your online presences, another day you may just practice adding more intentionality to your daily conversations. The challenge consists of only 21 of the 31 days in October, so there will be plenty of time to catch up. You can participate as much or as little as you like - some prompts may feel more relevant to you than others.
