Jobtober Day 21 - Reintroduce Yourself to the Network
You’ve changed. So has your network. Time to say hi again.
You made it. 🎉 Day 21.
Three weeks of showing up, learning, building, and becoming more findable.
Well done for following through all the way to the end.
You’ve grown — and chances are, your network has grown too.
Some of your followers may have been connected with you for years, maybe even three or four fiat jobs ago.
Others discovered you during Jobtober and only know this new version of you.
Now it’s time to reintroduce yourself.
💡 Why You Should Reintroduce Yourself
A “Hey, here’s who I am now” post helps people reconnect with you — both personally and professionally.
Some will comment,
“Hey, I’m in Bitcoin now too!”
Others will message you privately,
“I’ve been following your journey — congrats!”
And yes, some will quietly unfollow you — and that’s a good thing.
You don’t want everyone in your network.
You want the right people in your network.
The higher the quality, the better your engagement — and the more valuable your feed becomes.
If you’ve read my LinkedIn Guide for Bitcoiners, you’ll remember how I radically “cleansed” my feed — and how much more useful and inspiring LinkedIn became once it was full of the right kind of signal.
Reintroducing yourself once a year keeps your signal clear.
🧠 Ideas for Your Reintroduction Post
Make it human. Make it honest. And make it you.
Here are a few ideas:
📸 Selfie Post
Not everyone loves selfies, but the truth is — they perform incredibly well on social media. Add a friendly photo and share a few lines about who you are today, what you’re building, and what you’re looking for next.
🎥 Short Video
Record a quick video (even 60 seconds) saying hello to your followers. Keep it conversational and real.
📄 Carousel or Long-Form Post
Share your story — how you discovered Bitcoin, how your work has evolved, what you’ve learned about yourself in the process, and what you want to be known for moving forward.
💡 Pro tip: Once you’ve posted it, add it to your Featured section on LinkedIn so it’s the first thing people see when they land on your profile.
🧭 Your Task for Today
👉 Create your reintroduction post.
Share who you are, what you do, what you’re building — and what you’re looking for next.
Be proud of what you’ve built this month.
Your network deserves to know the updated version of you.
You can use hashtags like #Jobtober and #Bitvocation so others can find and celebrate your post.
