Jobtober Day 20 – Audit Your Findability
Can the right people find you — and recognize your value when they do?
You’ve spent the past 19 days becoming more visible. Congrats on making it all the way here!
Now it’s time to test your findability.
Because visibility means nothing if the right people can’t actually find you — or don’t immediately understand what you offer when they do.
💡 Step 1: Search for Yourself
Open your favorite search engine. Type your name.
What comes up?
Now search on LinkedIn, X, and Nostr.
Would you click on your own profile?
Would you instantly know what this person does and what they stand for?
💡 Step 2: Check Your First Impression
When someone lands on your profile:
✅ Does your photo look approachable?
✅ Does your headline clearly communicate who you are and what you do?
✅ Is your portfolio link visible and active?
✅ Is your About section written in human language — not corporate jargon — and does it sound like you?
💡 Step 3: The Bitcoin Signal Test
Scroll through your own content from the past few weeks.
Would someone know you’re a Bitcoiner by reading it?
Would they see that you contribute, not just consume?
If not, add a few touchpoints — a comment, a quote, or a post that reflects your alignment with Bitcoin’s values.
🧭 Your Task for Today
Do your Findability Audit.
Write down two or three quick improvements you could make — and update at least one today.
When someone discovers you online — recruiter, collaborator, or fellow Bitcoiner — make sure they instantly see your value and your signal.
This is your “final polishing session” before tomorrow’s final - and very important -day…
