How many Bitcoin Jobs were there in February 2025?
In February 2025, we tracked a total of 144 Bitcoin-related job postings, with 42% of these coming from 🟠 Bitcoin-only companies.
What Does the Bitcoin Job Market Trend Look Like?
While the Bitcoin price saw a decrease this month, we’re still seeing a solid level of job postings. Compared to February 2024, the market experienced a -8% Year-over-Year (YoY) decline, reflecting a slight slowdown. However, it's important to note that the 144 job postings represent the average number of roles we've seen over the last 12 months, indicating a consistent demand for talent in the Bitcoin space.

How many Bitcoin jobs are remote?
In February 2025, remote roles accounted for just under 50% of all Bitcoin job postings. While this is slightly lower than the previous months, we’re seeing a clear trend: 🟠 Bitcoin-only companies are much more likely to offer remote-only positions. This aligns with Bitcoin’s ethos of freedom and decentralization, making remote work a key component of many Bitcoin-focused roles.
Where are the hotspots of Bitcoin opportunities?
Take a look at the Bitcoin jobs map to see where the most exciting opportunities are located! Here are the key hotspots for Bitcoin roles:
America: USA leads with 43 job postings.
Asia: Singapore follows with 11 job opportunities.
Europe: Czechia stands out with 8 roles.
Africa: Ethiopia holds 2 positions.
These locations are where the Bitcoin job market is thriving, with notable activity across all continents.
Do you have to be a Developer to work in Bitcoin?
In February 2025, we tracked 73 non-developer positions, which is slightly lower than last month. However, this still represents a significant portion of the job market. In fact, compared to last year, where 2 out of every 3 jobs were non-developer roles, the current balance shows that there are still far more non-developer opportunities than developer ones. Bitcoin companies are on the lookout for a wide variety of skills beyond coding, so there’s plenty of room for talent from all backgrounds.
What roles have been in demand?
In February 2025, there were no clear outliers in terms of role demand. All positions were relatively evenly divided, with no single role being posted more than three times. This indicates a balanced demand across various skill sets, showing that Bitcoin companies are hiring for a wide range of positions rather than focusing on a few specific roles.
