How many Bitcoin Jobs were there in April 2025?
In April 2025, we tracked a total of 138 Bitcoin-related job postings, with 43% of these coming from 🟠 Bitcoin-only companies.
What Does the Bitcoin Job Market Trend Look Like?
Over the past three months, Bitcoin job listings have held remarkably steady — with 144 roles in February, 141 in March, and 138 in April 2025. This consistency points to a stable demand for talent across the ecosystem.
Compared to April 2024, this month’s numbers represent a solid +16% Year-over-Year (YoY) increase, underscoring the ongoing growth and resilience of the Bitcoin job market.

How many Bitcoin jobs are remote?
In April 2025, we continue see a trend of a nearly even split between remote and on-site + hybrid roles in the Bitcoin job market.
While 🟠 Bitcoin-only companies lean more heavily toward remote work compared to other Bitcoin-related companies — a trend that aligns with Bitcoin’s decentralized ethos.
Where are the hotspots of Bitcoin opportunities?
In April 2025, Bitcoin job opportunities remained globally distributed, with several regions continuing to stand out:
North America: The United States led with 30 job postings.
Asia: Singapore posted 8 roles.
Europe: Gibraltar and Czechia each had 6 postings, while Switzerland followed with 3.
Latin America: Brazil posted 5 roles, while El Salvador had just 1 this month.
These signals point to a Bitcoin job market that’s not only global, but increasingly shaped by regional strengths, policy choices and infrastructure investments.
Do you have to be a Developer to work in Bitcoin?
In April 2025, we tracked 94 non-developer roles across the Bitcoin ecosystem — continuing to make up the majority of job listings. With 44 developer roles posted, that means over two-thirds of Bitcoin jobs were for non-technical positions.
The chart below highlights that 🟠 Bitcoin-only companies are focusing heavily on expanding their non-developer teams, recognizing the critical need for skills beyond coding to support Bitcoin’s growth. While other Bitcoin-related companies focus more on developers.
What roles have been in demand?
This diversity in job postings emphasizes that Bitcoin companies are not just focused on one area — from technical development to marketing, compliance, and operations, the need for talent spans multiple functions, ensuring that the Bitcoin ecosystem is supported by a well-rounded workforce.

What Level of Talent Are Bitcoin Companies Hiring?
For the second month, mid-level roles continue to dominate job postings, reflecting strong demand for experienced professionals. Meanwhile, 🟠 Bitcoin-only companies tend to focus more on unpaid and entry-level roles.
